Our Delivery Services

If you really want to get settled into your new home quickly and smoothly, let Asian Tigers K. C. Dat make all the arrangements!

Normal import & delivery services include:

• Customs clearance
• One-time delivery to your residence, with normal access
• English-speaking supervisor on moving day
• Unloading and placement of all items into your residence
• Unpacking of all items as per your instructions
• Placement and assembly of furniture
• Removal of packing materials debris

Deliveries can be arranged from Monday to Saturday, except public holidays.

Customs Clearance

Hong Kong is a free port, but customs duties are payable on alcohol and tobacco.

Under normal process, customs clearance process takes approximately :

• 2 to 3 days for air freight
• 2 to 5 days for full containers (FCL)
• around 7 days for other sea shipments

During the Delivery

• An English-speaking supervisor will accommodate your requests
• Advise him where to place each item in the house
• Observe the condition of the goods unpacked

Once the move is completed, the supervisor will make a final check in the house with you.

Additional services

The following services can be arranged upon request. Charges vary accordingly.

• Warehouse or port storage
• Delivery of over-size items such as pianos or safes, hoisting, stair carry, difficult access and long carry
• Additional pick-up or delivery address
• Delivery on weekend or public holiday
• Specialist installations and other special services

In the Event of Damages

Most insurance companies require that the fragile items such as glass and china, earthenware, ornaments, works of art, marble etc. be unpacked and checked for damages at the time of delivery.

Please report any damages to the delivery crew prior to their departure from your residence, and make a note of any damage on the "exception report". This is a very important piece of document for insurance claims.

Our Inbound Department will notify the origin movers.

We recommend that you inform your insurance agent as soon as possible since there are time limits for submitting claims.

Handyman services are available for : Shelving, curtain rods installation Picture & mirror hanging Minor electrical or plumbing jobs Dimmer, lighting fixtures & ceiling fan installation Audio & video components set-up .. and all the other bothersome tasks that transform a house into a home !
